Does anyone know the name of this bird? I have looked thru my bird books for South GA and on the internet and cannot find one that looks like this one. Both pictures are the same bird.
Maxi, On google images there was a bird that might look like your little guy or girl.... says it's a mountain blue bird which is the state bird of Idaho quite a distance from you though. I don't know.

ReplyDeleteIt might be a female blue bird...they don't have as much color as the male. Have you seen it at the same time as a bright bluebird?

We do have the bright bluebird --bright blue with rust breast - we have quite a few of these. We have see 3 of the unidentified birds
