New member of the family

 

Meet Belle

We found her at the Humane Society

She is 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds

 

She was spayed Monday so she is recovering this week.

 She has a lot of love to give..she will put her paws up on your chest softly

expecting a massage on her shoulders..when we sit down she

has her paws in our lap and pulls her back legs in so she is sitting in

our lap..very uncomfortable for us but she could not be

happier...lays her head on our chest to be massaged..I started

the massage thing and it did not take her long to expect it. We talked

to the previous owner and he said she came from a breeder who

did not want females. Now I am not a dog lover and definitely do

not want dogs in the house..but that has changed just a little since

the temps are down around 32 at night and 50's with the wind blowing

during the day and she is recovering from surgery..she can only be

in the craft room and kitchen (which the two rooms join)

  So I put a rug in the craft room and she knows it is hers

and I don't have to worry about rolling my chair over her tail because some

times she lays right next to my chair. The last picture Bad Dog is the

second cushion she shredded..looks like she prefers old rugs

since they have not been shredded...yet

Our German Shepherd of 12 years passed to the rainbow bridge Jan 4 2013

and we went to look for another dog the next day.

Heart Ornies

                                     

                                         

 

I was only going to make 2 hearts to go with dolls,

but then thought of this basket and had this much of

the fabric left that I used on the doll dress.. and I put

them in the basket and they kept growing...don't you

agree more is better...I think everything looks better

 in groups.  I am always running behind..everyone is on

Easter and I am just finishing up Valentines...but

I did get a jump on Easter for once...I am making baby

bunnies...10 of them...there I go again with the

group thing again.

This heart fabric has a little sparkle glitter

I used a SweetMeadows pattern for these three

bag holders are finished

 

 

I finally finished them, they are listed on etsy

Snow

I have been working on some black mammy bag holders

I am hoping to get them dressed today.

 We live in south GA and on occasion we will see snow.

Feb 12, 2010 it started snowing just before dark and

these are some of the pictures. We have been living

here 12 years and this is the 2nd time it has snowed.

New Christmas Annies

 

I just finished these little annies...they are on Etsy.

They were really a lot of fun to make because of

the colors being pinks and light reds and

not the traditional red and green.

What I have been working on

 

Old Road Primitives reindeer pattern

 

Here's some things we have been working on...getting

ready for a 2 day show this weekend...

Thought I would try a different style..the

bottom could hold a gift, be a bag holder or

tissue holder

This is my first time with grundgy candles...it can be

a challenge
