What's for dinner tonight...

If you have zucchini in your garden, you know that the can grow from 4" one day to10" the next day.  I make zucchini bread and freeze, it does freeze well, still have a few loafs that are a year old and it tastes the same as when it was put in the freezer. I used this recipe which is in "Our Best Bites" one of my favorite cookbooks and it outstanding http://ourbestbites.com/. The recipe is for grilling but I baked them @ 350 for about 30 minutes or until zucchine is tender when tested with a fork.  Went to the garden and picked two for this recipe. They are fresh tasting, colorful and delicious.  Click on the recipe to enlarge.

What is this vulture saying.....

here in South GA we call them buzzards. After we snapped the photo of the cow in the pond we continued our drive and came upon this scene. There are 4 of these...as you can see one is standing in the middle of the road with his wings spread...there's one to the right with his wings spread. Also to the right is a dead raccoon and two more birds.  What is this bird saying?  Do you have a cute caption for this photo?

Before and After

Meet Ginger...she was groomed for the first time last week.  I almost backed out up to the time before just walking in the vet's door...but I went on in. They had to put her to sleep for the grooming and gave her a lion cut. It took a few days to get adjusted to her new tail..she would see it and I guess she thought someone was after her but she would jump... like trying to get away . But she loves her new "do". She is a different cat in the way she feels...  I think the biggest reason may be that she is not swallowing hair. The hair on her belly and tail was the longest...about 2 inches.  Another thing happened...her appetite increased, which that could also be furball related.  She is much cooler, the highs here have been 105 degrees, so it turned out to be a good thing and no more throwing up furballs.

Our WalMart is getting  the fabric department back in July!!!  We went to Albany GA Sat to go shopping and the old Walmart there still has the fabric department. She said that so many people had complained that they decided to put it back.  Those emails do get noticed...so keep sending  the emails and phone calls to WalMart  1-800-925-6278  Also ask them to bring Morning Glory Stuffing back.
